Kaminé collects information when you create an account, save a profile or address, place an order, or contact support.

  • Account details: name, email address, and password.
  • Profile details: name, phone number, and any address you choose to save.
  • Checkout details: recipient name, email, phone, delivery address, product, colour, size, quantity, and payment method.
  • Support details: the contents of your message and any order number or account email you include.
02

How information is used

The current store uses this information to create and authenticate accounts, save profile details, prefill checkout, record orders, arrange payment and fulfillment, show order history, send transactional emails, and answer support requests.

Operational logs record order and delivery events so failed payment, email, or fulfillment steps can be investigated. They are not used to create advertising profiles.

03

Services involved

Kaminé uses a small set of services to operate the store:

  • Appwrite provides account authentication and stores profiles, saved addresses, orders, order items, and operational records.
  • PayU hosts prepaid checkout. Payment details are entered on PayU, while Kaminé receives and stores the order payment status and PayU transaction identifiers.
  • Qikink receives the order items and delivery contact and address details needed to produce, dispatch, and track an order.
  • Email delivery is used for welcome, order confirmation, and order-status messages. Order confirmations may also be copied to the store team.
  • PostHog receives limited store events as described below.

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

04

Limited analytics

PostHog receives page visited, product viewed, product added to cart, empty-state, browser error, optional feedback, signup completed, signup attribution, checkout started, and order confirmed events. These events use page paths, product identifiers, step names, boolean outcomes, broad referral channels, selected discovery sources, and limited order totals or payment-method categories.

Kaminé also uses automatic button and link click signals, including repeated or unresponsive clicks, and masked session recordings to find navigation problems. Recordings mask page text, typed input, and element attributes. Request and response bodies, headers, canvas content, and automatically captured page URLs are not recorded.

The optional post-add-to-cart question uses thumbs and fixed choices only. It does not accept free-text feedback. The signup discovery question can include an optional short description of what you asked an AI assistant; it is used for attribution, not outreach. Other form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, delivery addresses, order numbers, raw referring URLs, and URL query details are not included in analytics events.

05

Browser storage and sessions

Your browser keeps the current cart, wishlist, and local account state so those features can continue between pages or visits. Appwrite also manages the browser session used to keep an account signed in.

PostHog analytics uses memory-only storage and does not create a persistent analytics identity between visits. Session recordings and click signals use short-lived session identifiers so related activity can be reviewed together.

06

Your information and requests

Signed-in shoppers can update their name, phone number, and saved address from the account page. Email changes and account deletion are not self-service.

To ask about access, correction, or deletion, email mail@kamine.cfd from or with the email connected to the account. Include an order number if the request concerns an order.

Kaminé has not published a fixed retention period. Support can explain what can be changed or removed for a specific request.

07
